Monday 23rd August 2021
Monday Day 1:
We went to Siblyback lake in the morning and we took mums paddleboard and hired two more for aunty Pauline and Katelyn
and two kayaks for me and Isaac to go on the lake with. When we were coming back to the shore aunty
Pauline wobbled and fell into the lake! She said it was very cold however afterwards we found it quite funny.
We had Cornish pasties for lunch and then mum and aunty p went for a walk and
I went back on the lake with mum’s paddleboard. She said it was very cold however afterwards we found it quite funny.

Tuesday Day 2:
In the morning Katelyn and Isaac went out sailing on the boat with uncle Ralph and me mum and aunty P went to
Plymouth and we walked along the barbican. We had some very delicious ice cream, I had cookies and cream!
Yum! We went onto another short ferry ride to Mount Batten and walked along the pier and back.
Then in the evening me and mum went out racing on the boat with uncle Ralph the tide was going out which
meant it was quite difficult to sail using the wind as we were going slow so we ended up motoring back to shore
but we did have a very fun time!
Wednesday Day 3:
Everyone except Uncle Ralph (who was recovery from the previous day adventure) went to visit Landhydroke,
a national trust place near Bodmin. We took a picnic and sat outside the gates to the house as we couldn’t go in as
we had Theo with us. Then we went for a very long walk around grounds it was very hot! We found a river (Fowey) and
Theo went swimming which he loved. We had a trip in the electric buggy back up the hill as we where too tired to walk
and and another ice cream at the top. Aunty Pauline cooked at dinner of burgers, fried egg, new potatoes and
vegetables when we got home. We watched the Pompei film apart for me as I read my book. Good night
Thursday Day 4:
Me, Katelyn and aunty P went to Plymouth shopping as uncle Ralph mum and Isaac went on the boat again.
It was a very fun time! Then for dinner we had some yummy Chinese takeaway.
It was a very fun week and we had lovely weather it was sunny and hot all week! I’m very excited for next time I come down 😊
