About the Torpoint
Players
The Torpoint Players were formed in 1978 and staged their
first production, "Aladdin" at Torpoint School. Since then they have
put on one or two plays each year, as well as being involved in an annual
Pantomime.
Over
the years they have won a number of awards for comedy, tragedy and melodrama
- and that's just the
committee meetings! They are always interested in meeting new members, so if you're looking to tread the boards or to help in any way
behind the scenes please feel free to talk to any member after the show; or
you could pop in and see us at the Band Hut,
Sainsbury Car Park, any Tuesday from 7.30 p.m.
